In this exercise, you’ll create a list of things that motivate and energize you.
Maybe you get a big boost of energy from going out on a walk. Maybe a quick dance party to your favourite song helps you feel excited.
Ways to boost your motivation might include:
- Singing along to the karaoke version of a song you love
- Following along to a YouTube workout video
- Watching a TedTalk online
- Getting outside for a walk
- Taking a power nap
Create a list of a bunch of activities that boost your mood and increase your energy levels. Once you have this list of “reverse kryptonite” activities, you’ll be able to reference it whenever you get stuck in a rut.
